Our trained psychologists focus on family relationships, dynamics and working to a common goal
Navigating family dynamics can become difficult at times due to competing needs, existing alliances and communication difficulties. Family therapy works with the entire family to address some of the issues which have been identified to contribute to a less than ideal family dynamic, resolve conflicts in a healthier way and foster enriching family relationships.
Family therapy works to help individuals understand each other and foster stronger bonds, so that conflict can be managed in a healthy and productive way for all members of the family. Family therapy can be useful for all types of families experiencing conflict, from traditional nuclear families, to blended families, single parent families and same-sex marriage families, families with young children or families with adult children.
Our trained psychologists will approach your family with neutrality and respect to gain an understanding of the difficulties you are facing within the family unit. We will work with you to assist in the identification of the issues, the effect these are having and work collaboratively with all family members to assist with finding better ways to cope.
