Dr Amber Kelly
Director/Principal Clinical Psychologist
Dr Amber Kelly is a registered and endorsed Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with over 12 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across public and private sectors, including hospitals and schools. Amber is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (CCLIN), and registered with Medicare to provide services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
Amber works across all age groups from infancy to adulthood and is highly trained in case formulation and evidence based therapies. She is passionate about improving the mental health of her clients using a warm, non-judgemental and engaging interpersonal style. Amber utilises evidence based interventions including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play based therapy, Parenting (Tuning into kids & teens) and Family therapy.
Amber’s works with a range of presentations including Anxiety, Depression, behavioural/social difficulties, self harm/risk, ADHD, Autism, identity/sexuality, low self esteem, body image, interpersonal difficulties, work stress, family system issues and parenting difficulties. In addition to providing individual therapy, Amber enjoys facilitating groups, running community workshops/presentations and liaising with other health professionals.
